Specifications for Perox Power - 50 Percent Hydrogen Peroxide High Grade Super Concentrate
I'm a just a liiittle bit crazy.
Perox Power is a high-strength 50% Hydrogen Peroxide solution. It is popular in commercial laundries for destaining, whitening and low-temperature sanitising of garments and linen. Perox Power is also widely used as a specialty stain remover on carpet, fabric and hard surfaces.
The chemistry is very simple. It’s basically water with an extra oxygen molecule (H2O2) and it breaks down into oxygen and water. H2O2 is produced by both plant and animal cells and is formed naturally in the environment by sunlight acting on water.
Perox Power is readily biodegradable and considered a greener alternative for many applications however extreme caution must be used when handling it because at such a high strength it is corrosive and dangerous if ingested. Some surfaces can suffer severe damage if contact with this super concentrate occurs.
Where to use
Perox Power is loved by many different industries and used in more applications than can actually be listed but here are a few.

• Commercial Laundries: Perox Power is an oxygen bleach designed for use in commercial laundries equipped with electronic injection systems. Carpet and fabric stain removal (bottle use)
1. Test on a small inconspicuous area first to ensure the suitability of the product on the surface.
2. Remove any debris or excess stain deposits.
3. Dilute at 9:1 (9 parts water and 1 part Perox Power). That's 90% water and 10% Perox Power (75ml of Perox Power in a 750ml bottle). Add the water first, then add Perox Power.
4. Apply directly to the surface via a cloth, disposable wipe or trigger. Then blot the fibre or stain. Do not over wet. Agitate gently.
5. Leave for a few seconds or for stubborn stains allow 2-5 minutes dwell time.
6. Blot away with a disposable cleaning wipe, or a clean white towel or extract with a machine.
7. Repeat or adjust the process if necessary.
*Attend to spots and spills as soon as possible. Fresh spots are significantly easier to remove. Stains that are left too long can become permanent. Using the wrong product can also set the stain or permanently damage the fibre.
**Do your stain removal, working from the outside of larger stains to the inside. This prevents the stain from spreading.
All other uses
Any non-laundry use of Perox Power is always at the user’s own risk and should be undertaken with extreme caution. We recommend you complete comprehensive independent training from a recognised training organisation for the specific use you require Perox Power. Perox Power is a hazardous raw material used for many different applications and should strictly be used by highly trained and experienced professionals only who understand the dangers and risks involved.
Handy tips and laundry advice
• Always test first in an inconspicuous area before using any cleaning solution. Play it safe, especially when you use a product for the first time. Better to be safe than sorry. Some surfaces can be sensitive to moisture and particular chemical types.
• For commercial laundries, dosage adjustments are best handled by a technical specialist.
• The quantity of product required will vary depending on the nature and degree of soiling, as well as the wash temperature.
• Better wash results are always obtained with warm to hot water.
• Read and follow garment washing instructions.
• Wash colours separately.
• If in doubt, test the colour fastness of garments before use.
