All-purpose spray & wipe cleaner
- Dilute at 9:1 (9 parts water and 1 part Bobby Dazzler). That's 90% water and 10% Bobby Dazzler (75ml of Bobby Dazzler in a 750ml bottle). Add the water first, then add Bobby Dazzler, to avoid foam and speed up the filling process.
- Apply directly onto a microfibre cloth, disposable wipe or the surface via the Bobby Dazzler labelled bottle with a spray trigger.
- Wipe the surface in a circular motion.
- Turn the cloth or wipe to an unused section (or use a fresh one) for a final wipe.
Floor mopping (mop and bucket)
- Erect safety signs and prepare your gear.
- Dilute at 80:1
(80 parts water to 1 part Bobby Dazzler). That's approximately 99% water and 1% Bobby Dazzler
(50ml of Bobby Dazzler in ½ a bucket/4 litres of water or
13ml per litre).
Add water to your bucket, then add Bobby Dazzler.
- Fill up your bucket to the fill line through the dilution control system (or manually).
- Immerse the mop into the bucket. Soak. Then wring the mop out in a twisting motion.
- Replace your mop water regularly or as soon as it starts getting dirty.
Automatic floor scrubbers (tank use)
*Bobby Dazzler is solenoid, solution line and pump safe.
- Dilute at 99:1 (99 parts water to 1 part Bobby Dazzler).
That's 99% water and 1% Bobby Dazzler
(or 10ml of Bobby Dazzler per litre of water). Add the water first, then add Bobby Dazzler to avoid foam and speed up the filling process.
- See your scrubber manufacturer’s operating instructions.
Robotic floor cleaners (tank use)
- Erect safety signs and prepare your gear. Ensure the robot floor cleaner's clean water tank, dirty water tank, and mop pads or brushes are clean and properly installed.
- Dilute at 99:1 (99 parts water and 1 part Bobby Dazzler). That's approximately 99% water and 1% Bobby Dazzler (10ml per litre of water). Add water to the clean water tank first, then add Bobby Dazzler to prevent excessive foaming.
- Fill up the clean water tank to the fill line through a dilution control system or manually. Securely seal the tank and reinsert it into the robot or docking station.
- Attach clean mop pads and launch the cleaning run. Ensure mop pads or rollers are fitted correctly (pre-dampen if recommended by the robot manufacturer). Set your desired cleaning mode/water dosage on the machine or app, then start the program.
- Empty dirty water and maintain the machine regularly. Empty and rinse the dirty water tank after every cleaning cycle or as soon as the robot signals it is full. Wash mop pads and rinse the clean water tank routinely to prevent chemical or dirt build-up.
Handy tips
- Use hot water. This will boost your cleaning performance (especially on oil, fat and grease) and speed up drying times.
- When manually filling bottles, buckets or tanks, add the water first and Bobby Dazzler last. This prevents foaming, chemical splashes and spills, which will save you time!
- For cleaning spaces where hygiene is important, use our disposable cleaning wipes or paper towel instead of regular reusable cloths.
Is Bobby Dazzler pet friendly?
Yes. When used as directed, it is safe around pets and humans.
Is Bobby Dazzler septic safe?
Generally yes, when used as directed. It does depend on how you use it and how much you use it. It is commonly used in commercial and domestic facilities with septic systems without any problems at all. Bobby Dazzler has been tested in septic system applications with independent septic system technicians and no issues were found. The reason for this is...
- When used as a spray and wipe, it never enters the septic system anyway.
- When used as a mop and bucket cleaner, it doesn't enter the septic system providing the bucket water is disposed of somewhere other than down the sink.
- If the diluted Bobby Dazzler goes down the drain, it is diluted down to safe levels and/or it is even further diluted by the process water used in cleaning (eg rinsing and flushing). By the time it enters the septic, it is highly unlikely to cause any issues.
Is Bobby Dazzler a disinfectant?
Yes. Independently tested at a 17:1 dilution, it passes bacteria testing and meets TGA Commercial Grade Disinfectant (Option C) requirements, including specific claims to kill bacteria such as E-Coli and Staph.
What's the difference between Bobby Dazzler and Cleansan?
Bobby Dazzler is a fragranced, streak-free general-purpose cleaner for everyday surfaces. Cleansan is fragrance-free and formulated specifically for food preparation areas.
Can I use Bobby Dazzler in an auto-scrubber (automatic floor scrubber)?
Yes, at a 99:1 dilution. It's solenoid, solution-line and pump safe. Check your machine manufacturer's instructions too.
How long does a 5L drum last?
At the standard 80:1 mopping dilution, a 5L drum makes roughly 400L of ready-to-use floor mopping solution.
